The wedding season started out early for us this year, and we simply could not be happier about it. What a great way to step into 2009! The words are not enough to describe my excitement on that day. As many of you know, I am so in love with bright, vivid colors, that an Indian wedding for me is a day in a dreamland, in true paradise where everything is chic, festive, beyond believable, especially in the wintertime! I can't wait to share these images with all of you, so sit back and enjoy this wonderful story...
While getting visited by her girls Aziza is taking a peek at her makeup, which was done by Doug Howell, and was absolutely stunning.
I think I lived somewhere in India in my previous life, my admiration and love for this culture is not quite normal :)
Even the shoes sparkle!
We were all so fascinated my how calm Aziza was throughout the day. Perfectly happy, in perfect control, a perfect bride!
Final touches
You feeling the love, right..? :)
If someone would've asked me to describe what happiness is, what it looks and feels like, I would've simply showed this image. I think it says it all.
The images we adore and cherish the most are those that possess pure emotions, moments in time that cannot be intentionally repeated, they are one of a kind. Right then and there...
I have to say this moment below instantly got into my "absolute favorites" collection, and I guarantee it will stay there permanently.
Striking!
I could not stop myself from putting this picture up :) Aria, you stole my heart that night, you are only 6, yet so mature and gracious. I'm sure your mommy is so proud of you!
Mr&Mrs!!!
A real paparazzi scene, isn't it? I found it hilarious!
During Imad's best friend's toast. Thoughts and emotions.
...
HELP! The groom's shoes just got stolen!
Aziza's sister is saying her speech, which made me laugh&cry at the same time.
Grand exit of the married couple
Aziza&Imad! Thank you so much for allowing us document the most important day of your lives, for all the joy that we got to experience, for the love that we got to witness. And most importantly, for following us down the basement (or the lower level as they call it), as some very special images were created back there :) We can't wait to see what the future holds for you, and hope to stay connected and try getting together every time you come back to Boston.
Full wedding gallery is coming up very soon, so stay tuned.
And many many thanks to our one and only
Doug Levy who joined our team for the day. It is always such a pleasure to shoot with you! We love you! (even though Tony refused to give you that cute hug near the stage, what can you do, he doesn't like to show his feelings in public)
