Edgar + Janelly: Engaged!!!

Over the weekend we got a chance to hang out with this absolutely wonderful couple. Edgar and Janelly are high school sweethearts, and they are planning to get married around this time next year. All I can say is that these two have such connection...
I felt it from the minute we met them. I can still see their smiles in front of me :) I must confess that Janelly and Edgar were a dream to work with. How lucky are we? Beautiful weather, amazing location, yummy light and on top of everything - clients that are simply "natural" in front of the camera!

How cute - they were holding hands the whole time!

Yummy couple, yummy light - one of my favorites of all times!

Another favorite

Ohh yeah! Almost forgot, Mr. Kanye West made an appearance while we were shooting ;)

Yuummmmm.......

How cool is this door?

Guys, thank you again for letting us capture this exciting time of your lives, for being a great company, and for being open to all of my (sometime crazy) suggestions :)

Edit: How silly of me not to include this shot in the post? Yeah, I know ....

Boston Gift Show

Why is it nice and sunny during the week, and pouring buckets of rain come weekend??? For the 5th weekend in a row we get rain and overall, absolutely nasty (unpleasant) weather. On Sunday we had to reschedule an engagement shoot again, but on a flip side it gave us a chance to attend annual Boston Gift Show.
We went through registration, got our badges, but little did we know- kids under 14 were not allowed on the showroom floor! Tony always jokes that he is a"very likable guy", so it's either because of that or simply due to my charming looks and personality (haha) - one of the nicest ladies at the entrance agreed to let us in, under one condition - we had to carry DiDi the whole time and not let her run around like she usually does. Well, we had no choice but to comply.
Let me tell you, it was a grand show, I felt like I was in heaven - they had everything that I love (and I love a lot of things :)) Our mission was to find some cool vendors to implement some of our awesome ideas for our business and for our precious clients, and we did. Mission accomplished! Moreover, since DiDi was the only little child there, she got so much attention, and therefore, presents...yes...people gave her toys, gift boxes for her dolls, etc. So, after over 3 hours of wandering around the showroom floor while carrying our girl in our arms, I realized that we are a couple of really tough cookies:) I'm so glad I lift weights several times a week - it helps!!! :)

Here is a little visual story of the day:

Bags, boxes and more boxes

Cool wooden toys

Cute hedgehogs

Little porcelain figures

TOYS!!!

DiDi met a new friend

And reconnected with an old one :)

By looking at this picture you can get a clear idea on who is in charge of all of the financial planning in our family

Nice Box for DiDi!

Who cares what we need, DiDi picks candy - no doubts about that!

Yey! It was fun, for sure

Playdate with the Feds!

On Saturday we have discovered a secret recipe...:) you take DiDi, Layla and Annabelle, add in hundreds of toys of all shapes, colors and sizes...and you get the most amazing play date ever! Our friends Kate and James Federico of The Feds Studio were scheduled to shoot an engagement session, but no baby sitter :( No problem! we said :) and a couple of hours later they brought their wonderful girls, Layla and Annabelle, to our place.
I was only brave enough to grab a few shots of them playing, their friendly peace was better undisturbed :) At first I was a little worried as to how would they communicate with DiDi (she only speaks Russian for now), but once they got here it became obvious that kids don't care what language you speak as long as there is a bunch of toys around to play with :)

What a nice welcome!

Layla is definitely having a good time

To all our future play dates - CHEERS :)

Rocking Like Rockstars!!!

Last Friday I attended The Rockstar Road Trip Seminar held by our new friends Corey McNabb and Amber Holritz. This seminar was hands down one of the best seminars/workshops I have attended and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg ;) These guys are truly amazing at what they do. Corey has shared some secrets about his packages and marketing strategies, while Amber shared he philosophy on lifestyle baby photography. Now, every time I get to play with my daughter, I have this urge to pick up the phone and book a session with Amber to capture our life as a family. I even got teary eyed during her speech when she showed a photo of a father kissing his daughter's hand. It was that amazing!

Once we were done with the boring (just kidding) part, it was time to PARTY Rockstar style!

I apologize in advance if the next (extremely graphic) image offends you in any way :)

Bill+Adrienne

This past week-end I had an opportunity to shot a wedding with fabulous Bob Pattison of Pattison Photography. It was my first time ever in Cohasset, MA (as well as in Hingham, MA where the ceremony took place), and I can't even describe you my excitement as I was driving through absolutely gorgeous places south of Boston.

March PUG

How does that saying go? "Better late than never", right? We are way behind on blogging here and we are very sorry for that. There is so much to blog about and so little time to actually do it :( Well, here are some photos that we took during last Boston PUG Meeting that was held at BU CDIA in Waltham.

There were over 70 people in attendance last month! Let's see if we can get more this month
