Me and Karina met exactly 20 years ago on the first day of school...two little girls in uniforms with white bows in the hair…It was the most important day for all of us, as it was the day of all the great beginnings, and as they say “a start of a joyful journey into the land of knowledge” :)
It feels unreal, totally unreal that it's been so long. In fact, what's more unreal is that back then none of us could've thought we'd end up going somewhere else other than our dream-like, sweet and careless world of childhood in the best city in the world (for us, of course) We spent 7 wonderful years in the same classroom with the same people, experiencing life together every step of the way. Then Karina moved to United States, and who knew that several years later I’ll end up here too :)
We strolled the streets of Kharkov (Ukraine) and now we are strolling the streets of Boston

Here we are in Cambridge (Harvard Yard)
Karina&Jack!
Yummy couple!
Karisha, I love you, girl!
I get tears in my eyes whenever I start going through piles of those black and white pictures (yeah, I know, I’m that emotional)…they hold so many stories, each and every one of them…or watching our bad quality VHS tapes (we didn’t have DVDs back then) thinking about the good old times.
It is amazing what a simple picture can hold, it is a tiny piece of life, a moment in history, a note from the past. Precious! :)
I hope our crazy schedules will allow us to meet again very soon.
It was great to spend a weekend together!
